Did you know that the Themes Project has been in the works for almost a year? We've made a lot of changes during this time – some of them big and obvious, while others live entirely on the backend, invisible in your everyday Prezly experience, yet making your newsrooms load quicker, look a touch more polished.

From research to development, this is the story of how we tried to build the best newsroom in the world.

Building the best newsroom in the world ✏️

Hello! My name is Hugo and I was the lead designer on this project – a project that bears the name "Bea" for my daughter. And like my daughter, Bea Theme has given me many sleepless nights, just about brought me to tears, and made me fall in love (with design!) all over again.

Urban movies continue to grow in popularity. This can be seen in the exploding direct to video market where urban movies reign supreme. The rising quality of independent urban movies has made them much more attractive to DVD consumers.

Urban Movies Continue To Rise

Some talented film directors behind this urban movement are Charles Dutton, Damon Dash, Sid Kali, Hype Williams, John Singleton, Dale Stelly, Mike O'Dea and Quentin Tarantino.

People think that with the arrival of the digital camera, it is easy to take good photographs. What is easy, is for us to delete the bad ones. It is still tricky to take a good photograph.

Take Better Photographs

The best thing you can do is relax and not be in too much of a hurry to take a photograph. Really take time to compose your shot and make sure everything looks right before you press that shutter. Even though it easy to just delete the picture with digital, it is good practice to slow down, otherwise you could end up with 50 quickly taken photos and not a decent shot among them.There are many ways that even the average snapper, with a few pointers, can take photographs that will actually make them money.If you are trying to sell your work to magazines or other publications, the following tips will help you with some of the techniques needed to take a photograph that will sell.

The best thing about a digital photo is that you can manipulate it to the extent of your imagination. This manipulation can be achieved thanks to various software packages available on the market, varying in complexity from the feature packed Adobe Photoshop to Paint Shop Pro.
